Three years ago I bought a Rickenbacker 208 counsel D8 husk and started chasing parts for it. Due to life, health & other priorities I set it aside. This week I got it out and started working on it again.
I had bought a lot of parts for it and as Rickenbacker parts are non-existent, I decided to use Fender Stringmaster parts. Since finding Rick horseshoe pickups at an affordable price was impossible, I bought a pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity 8 pole Stringmaster pickups.
I managed to find one bridge & two nuts 3 years ago:
It measures 3" wide and 1 5/16" depth.
I thought it was a Fender Stringmaster bridge but looking on-line it doesn't match photos of Stringmaster bridges/control plates that I found. For the life of me I can not recall where this bridge came from.
Can anyone ID this bridge? Better yet, does anyone have one for sale ?
Thanks!!! _________________ Tony

Sorry that I can’t help you directly, but there are a few members here on SGF who could probably fabricate a pair of decent bridges for your product. You could pose the question, if that idea appeals to you. _________________ Current Tunings:

I found it! It's a 26" Stringmaster bridge 1953/1954.
I was looking up info on a 26" Stringmaster and found this photo:
You can see the bridge at the top of the photo. So it is a Stringmaster bridge - MK1.
