Herbert Hanawahine is a Hawaiian Treasure. He perpetuated the old style of playing Hawaiian Steel Guitar to promote traditional Hawaiian music. His harmonics were the best. This was best displayed when he played Whispering Lullaby.
He will be greatly missed.
