Hi folks,
I ordered the Spark Amp on Jan. 17th and it arrived by Fedex at 11AM this morning.
So delivery time must be improving.
As Bill McCloskey stated in an answer to a question I posed earlier, the app is an easy one to use.
Very simple and seems to be well laid out.
I've had it out of it's box for only 30 minutes and it's all hooked up to bluetooth and the cloud thingy and everything works fine.
My goodness what a big sound from a little box This is going to be fun.
Now if you will excuse me......... _________________ I have stuff.
I try to make music with it.
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it doesn't.
But I keep on trying. |

Larry,
I use the metronome a lot in the app when practicing. Plus a pair of earbuds out of the headphone jac, when I don't want to bother the family.
You'll notice the sound out of the headphone jac is much different EQ wise vs. the speakers.
If you go on their cloud, search STEEL GUITAR and you'll pull up the amp, EQ and effects that I'm using. You'll still have to tweak the EQ to what you like.

Here's a reply I made to a fellow SPARK owner to help him tweak it.
Do you have it set on "acoustic" not "Clean"? You would think clean was the way to go but not true for me.
Also, did you go to the cloud to try out my settings? Search "Hogan" and it should pull up about 5 tones/amps.
Every time you turn the SPARK off, it will return back to where the knobs were originally from my original saved settings. You have to move the particular knob to a different location to change the setting to your liking.
Of course, turn either bass or and highs up and down. Remember that the speakers sound different vs. just using the headphone jack. The HP jack sound has more highs, so adjust accordingly.
