Here is the new Rittenberry Prestige Custom, this body is 1/2 longer than the standard prestige, with an emmons style keyhead, a split tail neck(optional) color coordinated flocking and the options to have arm pads in other colors as well.

| No the prestige guitars still have the jch style, the reason of using this board the color of the blue on this board is similar to the color of the guitar, Gary had the body built when I started helping him and we collaborated on matching the flocking and the fret board. |

| I love it trough every amp but had to put a speaker in, the brights on the katana was to harsh still tweaking on it and the clean channel is too quite with the gain turned down. But I’m 15” speaker guy so it will take little to get use to. I got it for weight I was tired of dragging the NV400 around. I installed a eminence basslite in it and so far so good. |

Derek, I’ve always been a 15” guy myself, ever since leaving my Fender Twin. BUT, I really love my Ritt through my Telonics SuperTwin with TT12’s in it... It absolutley has all the Range I thought I had with my 15’s... I talked at depth with Buck Reid a couple of years ago about his reason for using a 112 instead of a 400 with a 15” and his explanation made total sense, even to this non tech guy... I also have two Rick Johnson Cabs with TT15’s in them, AND can use them as extension speakers with the Telonics. Just for giggles, you may want to try a TT12 in your Katana... I know that these TT speakers tend to eliminate any of the weirdness I was experiencing before putting them in.

Forrest, I’m sure I won’t word it as well as Buck, but as I remember, it had to do with 15’s needing to be pushed harder to get all those frequencies but aren’t, where the 12’s reach their frequency efficiency at a much lower level... Hope I got that correct... I know in order to save a BUNCH of weight, I went to an ELF for bass in church with a 10†speaker and it takes care of the church very well with a pretty good bassy sound... It surprised me a lot.

Hey, roger, I feel it adds some different overtones, I believe it’s a mix
Of the string length,and the tuner shaft being in contact with the keyhead transferring sound. |

DEREK that’s a beautiful prestige l really like that design.
I feel that Gary an you build one of the best pedal steels that you Can own.
Look at the bell cranks you don’t have too remove the round cross shafts too add a bell crank an Expensive milled End plates, just good quality down too the last screw.
Just labor intensive an high cost Materials go into Gary’s PRESTIGE STEELS.

I never modded my Katana except for putting different preamps and compressors thru it but the baffle or cab depth was an issue
