I was just watching Eddie Stubbs (WSM, Opry) interview Vince Gill about whether he preferred writing alone with others (either way, likes the camaraderie).

Vince said someone once asked Roger Miller if he co-wrote.

"Does Picasso co-paint?"

When it comes to song writing humor I'd have to place Ray Stevens at, or near, the top. Back in the fifties Homer & Jethro had many funny songs.
