I've been looking at a few Sho Bud models, and I'm looking at the professionals. I've heard they're more reliable than my Crossover, duh it's a Crossover. Anyways, tell me about your Professional, drop a picture if you could too! I'm a sucker for a good looking steel.

Here is a photo of my professional, They are nice guitars.

This is a 6139 single neck version that I travel with.

Looks some what like the crossover, but has no metal frame. This one is a 4&3 setup.

Here’s my rack & barrel Professional. It had two knee levers added, making it an 8x4.

Bought one when I was 12 yrs old. Played it until I graduated high school. I thought I deserved a new guitar. And I wanted more knee levers because I was going to Jeff’s school later that year. One of the worst mistakes I made!! I should have had the levers added And kept it. I’m still looking for it.

Good luck.

I’ve got a great 73 Single Pro that Ricky Davis worked up. I don’t use it/bring it on every session or gig, but it’s a really fun guitar to play and mechanically is great, tone is killer. Maybe the slightest touch more finicky than other guitars I’ve played and owned but the tone makes up for it and Rack and Barrel adjustments are as fast as anything.

Mine has a chrome 705 in it and it’s my go to for old Honky Bud tones. For more modern glassy stuff I like my Emmons.
