Just found this Doug Jernigan video that Bill Ferguson
posted on Youtube and wonder if anyone good tell me
what the name is on the second song. It's a beautiful
song but I can't think of it. Any help is appreciated.

It's fun and nice to hear Doug Jernigan taking time to tune his guitar. No electronic tuner needed. And it's perfectly in tune !!!

"Makin' The Rounds"
Recorded by Little Jimmie Dickens many years ago. Doug made it into one of my favorite instrumentals.
(I believe it was written by Boudleaux Bryant.) _________________ Magnum D10, Emmons D10 push-pull |

When I was playing steel on the Country Music USA Show at Opryland USA in Nashville I had the pleasure of taking a few one on one lessons from Doug at his home in White House.
A fine human being and he rolls faster than ANYONE! _________________ First owner of Steelseat.com

Doug is a smoking hot steel player and one fine gentleman. He can jazz it up or play it country with ease. One of the best. |

You can check out Doug every Saturday at 5pm Eastern on RFD-TV’s “Merlin Gene Show.†Plenty of good camera shots of Doug - what a phenomenal player! The fiddler sits right at his key head and the guy watches Doug’s hands like a hawk. |

Thanks for the help John. George Jones also did this song.
Sure would love to find a track for it. Beautiful melody. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |
