I wound up listening to the whole interview which is about an hour and half, he's a fascinating picker for sure.
If you just skip though to the volume pedal thing make sure you skip on close to the end as Chris gets out the old D-8 Fender and does some playing and some demonstrations of a few cool tricks he uses.
