Hey, Guys!
I'm restoring a pre-war B7 and need the pickup worked on.
And if you're gonna suggest Rick Aiello--I got lucky an he agreed to do it! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. ....funny, his name rhymes with "top dollar."
Although, well, he is darn good!
I would have asked Todd Clinesmith, but he's still recovering from losing his shop. _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. Disclaimer, I have not used his services and can't vouch for his work. This is only what a quick search came up with. But there is a price range and contact info:
From his website:
"Lap steels vary widely in design and function. I have rewound hundreds if not thousands of these from the original Rickenbacker Frying Pan to Supros to Fender Professionals. The designs are so different that I can only give a range of pricing for these. They generally run from $70.00 to $100.00 depending on the restoration needed and the style of pickup."

Tom rewound a late 47' Fender Boxcar pickup for me and did a great job. Check with him, he's a good guy. _________________ Thank you and y'all have a good day. |
