Iʻve played this outro for a while now (typically with Blue Hawaii in C) and I really like it, but I know I borrowed it from somewhere, most likely Jules Ah See or Barney Isaacs. I had assumed it was from Hawaii Calls, but couldnʻt find an example.
Realized it is a very slightly modified version of the ending of the Steel Guitar Magic version of the tune, Barney Isaacs and Billy Hew Len. Itʻs a fairly typical Barney sort of chordal thing:

You can do it in C13 or C6 (donʻt need the b7 at all), 8 string helps give the extra oomph on the low C, but not required.
Code: |
E|-----------------------------------8-------------------------------h7----------|
C|--------------12------------------8-8-----------0----------2--p0-----h7--------|
A|------------12--12---------------8---8---------1-1--------2---p0-------h7--h7--|
G|----------12------12------------8-----8-------1---1------0---------------h7----|
E|--------12----------12---------8-------------1-----1----0----------------------|
C|------12---------------------8--------------1----------0-----------------------|
Bb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
C|--/12------------------12\8-------------8\1-----------0------------------------| |
The DbM7 and CM9 chords are just really sweet sounding! Barney always found ways to use open strings to his advantage. _________________ Waikīkī, at night when the shadows are falling
