I generally don't work on "crossover era" steels as they were made to function as built(this C6th; and D-10's are Crossover mech);also has the wood wraparound thing; puts the changer just bolting down with brackets to the body; and the single/single changing out for fingers to double raise/single lower; you'll have to cut endplate and find these fingers and their cost; and each knee lever kit built is ruffly 150.00 each; and redo pedal board; other linkage and labor; probably over 1000.00 dollars; for a steel that is only worth 1200.00 in my book.
So No; as it's not worth turning something into; a more modern Sho~bud; that you can buy 50 of them right now for 1800.00 more or less.
