Anybody have actual knowledge about this Emmons pickup?
Solid white core top (no laminates)
Solid black baseplate
Extra white lead..
17.8 ohms.
Informed help, thoughts and comments please.

Is it an Emmons dual coil?

I'm far from being an expert. It looks like an Emmons single coil, but the shield is disconnected, so a new grounding lead has been jury-rigged. The base plate could be a replacement.
