Thanks for posting this. Quite a revelation that during my formative years it was the Mickey Mouse Club were I started loving the sound of steel guitars. I watched the show for decades! lol
Also many trips to that Great American theme park, Knotts Berry Farm where Johnny Thompson hones his licks on a Bigsby Steel. Don't remember much about it other than going and riding the burros in a circle.

Here's a better pic of Johnny on his Bigsby in 1958 when operating as The Cactus Kids. No older than 17. His website says it's a D10???
