Do Any of you Pro, Semi Pro, Amature Pedal Steelers use the Lehle Mono Volume 90,
As your choice of Volume Pedal for your Steel Playing?
If so please Remit the good and Bad aspects of this particular Pedal if there are any to mention...I’m looking to purchase a Volume Peda for my 2nd Pro Pedal Steel, I’ve actually had a Desert Rose and I had the Hilton pedal but Sold them both a few years back...
All opinions and remarks will be considered so please I’m looking for educated and relevant remarks...
Thanks 🙠_________________ Jeffery S Mercer |

I've had two Hiltons, an Omni, and tried out a Telonics. I have had the Lehlie 90 for about a year. It is my favorite active pedal. Smooth as butter, controls easy to set, the magnetic Hall principle it works on is trouble free, and its built like a tank. The model 90 means the jack's are 90 degrees from the front, which puts them on the side for steel. The regular pedal has the jacks on the ends. Buy from a place that has 30 return policy so you can return it if it's not for you. I got mine from Pitbull Audio in California.
If you haven't seen the video, Google The secret of the Lehlie Volume pedal 2018 NAMM show. |

It's my favorite of the active pedals I've used for the same reasons George mentioned (I've used them all, and they're all very good).
I still tend to use old Sho Bud passive pedals for the most part, but the Lehle is a great pedal. Active pedals are in general a bit bright to my ears, but on certain guitars they really work.
