Sounds like classic Ben Harper. I saw him four or five times, always a good show. Wish i could go see him now!

Very nice Brad, thanks for sharing! Though I’m guessing it might be more correctly referred to as the first video from the recording - as a “single“ I can’t imagine it would get very far in terms of sales.

Shot at the Folk Music Center in Claremont, east of Los Angeles, the shop started many years ago by Harper’s grandparents that he now owns. I have been to the store a couple times while on business in Southern California, I love that place.

The lap steel guitar Is from the brilliant luthier John Monteleone, the first one he had built. There was an article in Fretboard Journal about it a few years ago and I had to wipe the drool off the pages while looking at the photos. Wink
