A serious subject, and serious times, but a little humor never hurts! And a big shout out to my little granddaughter for the shoes, thank you Ember❣️
Good thoughts and prayers to all, Pop

She'll never be accused of overusing the AB pedal licks.

I remember reading somebody cutting legs and pedal rods 8" under standard (maybe more, but gotta keep the levers off the floor) for a small child to play... it's almost time!

To paraphrase the old saying, "I felt bad about having no pedal steel shoes until I met Bob Womack with his size 9 1/2 EEEE feet." Ducks envy my feet. Try fitting THOSE on pedals.

I have special "pedal steel shoes". Typically boat shoes, slip-ons that are real flexible. My band mates make fun of me. They call them Chinese slippers or worse, fag shoes. Geesh, don't bother me.

You can use AB and C pedals all at the same time without moving your heel, huh? Very Happy

I've used soft bedroom slipper in the past. They work just fine.

I hear you Mr. Womack
In my job as a Game Warden, They always had uniform shoes in stock that fit me. The Supply Officer said, "I was the only DUCK that worked there". I wore 8 1/2 EEEE.
I like my EEEE cowboy boots too. Short and wide Easy to hit 2 Pedals, And don't get caught in the Pedal Rods.

One of the guys who showed me a few things when I first started out on pedal steel had one bare foot and one sneaker on. He said I’d be totally barefoot if I could but the pedals hurt my left foot.
Also heard people say cowboy boots are good because you can rock back and forth on that heel.
