We just got back from spending the weekend in Nashville to pick up my Bad Dawg and I'm still giddy.

Mike Scaggs is building absolutely incredible tube amps. I know nearly everybody is familiar with his push pull restores. He's putting that same attention to detail and perfectionist attitude into these amps. I've over the moon for mine. I've played on it a few hours and ran it mostly straight up, everything on 5, except the volume which is about 2.5 or so (it's loud!), and I love everything coming out of this amp. Turning a knob just slightly changes the tone quite a bit. It has a pretty wide range of tones and sounds gorgeous.

It's very even, shimmery on top with very tight, full bass. Normal eq knobs plus a half power switch, a bright switch and a presence knob. Really nice spring reverb with mix, dwell and tone. The LED lit p2p logo is super cool and will look great on stages.

Aside from the best amp I've ever played or heard, Mike could not be a nicer, cooler guy. My wife and I were at his place for hours and she just about had to pry me away. Lol.

Randy Beavers playing on the Bad Dawg is what really had me lusting after one. Here's me hacking away at his beautiful version of I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry. https://youtu.be/UEofzoHZexc

Wow, well thanks for making me turn red LOL. Chris and Angie are some of the nicest folks you ever want to meet. I am very pleased to turn Chris loose with this new amp design I put together. I look forward to building more in the future.

Now, I was the very lucky recipient of this beautiful p2p Mosaic made by hand from Angie. I was blown away by the kindness and thoughtfulness of this incredible gift. I am a blessed man to have so many good people in my life.

Chris you lucky dog. That's an incredible amplifier and no matter what your playing level you are blessed with the best tone available. Congratulations on your purchase. That's a cool gift for Mike.

Along with the exterior and outstanding sound, the inside electronic wiring and components are top notch. Other than some Military and NASA equipment I haven't seen any wiring detail to equal what Mike does.

You're right, good playing/great sound in that vid and the mosaic's amazing.

I gotta say tho, it looks like the back's unbolted and about to fall off your steel seat.

Thanks Gene. Very Happy That's one of Joe Naylor's seats with the swivel in the base. It's rock solid.

Seeing how Mike makes these things, the build quality ethic, the detail, the parts quality, and hearing the unquestionable results, I don't think there's ever been a steel guitar tube amp this good. And it helps that he's such a great guy.

Thanks to all for such a nice and positive feedback on this new amp. Even though they are a lot of work I do enjoy this build and the sounds even more.

Cheers to all
