When I pick the 4th string-Open E, and engage the LKL, there isn't any tension until it is almost completely horizontal. So, it doesn't tune to D#. Is this a quick fix?
Thanks for your help. |

Gary, take a look at where the bell crank and pull rod connect to the cross shaft for your LKL and make sure everything is tight and not slipping there. |

Not sure where I would do a tightening. Is there a screw on those apparatuses (the BC,PR and CS) you mentioned that if tightened increases the tension on the lever?
Thanks so much to you Joel and bOb as well for your assistance. |

Gary, i just meant make sure the bell crank is not slipping on the cross shaft or the pull rod slipping at the bell crank as you actuate the lever. Was the lever working correctly before? |

I think so. As bOb said, Pull Releases can be tricky and to me it sometimes is counter intuitive; and lowering the 4th string seems to be a problem with several Forumites. I'll keep trying to fix it. Thanks again and God Bless. |
