I'm in the military and stationed overseas in Europe in Southern Spain, obviously this kind of makes it difficult to find help when I need it. I'm pretty independent but when I get to a roadblock it would be nice to have someone I can call up to pick their brain.

You could try Skype lessons, which work well. John McClung and Joe Wright give lessons by Skype along with many other fine players.
