I am posting this for Chris.
Chris Templeton is pleased to announce his podcast/show he has named "Stopher’s Steel Shack" launching in September.
Chris says this,
“As a student of Jerry Byrd, Buddy Emmons, Jeff Newman and others as well as having worked for Scotty and Tom Bradshaw, at the International Steel Guitar Convention, I have steel techniques that I’ve learned that I’d like to share. There will be a minimal fee.
Some of the artists I have played for are Marty Haggard, Dan Hicks (dobro), Margo Smith, Paul Winter, Leilani’s Keiki Hula group and Kapu Kinimaka Alquiza’s Hula Group, Johnny Gimble, Michael Hurley & David Amram, and sat in with many others including New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Michael Martin Murphy, Jerry Jeff Walker.
I also taught a pedal steel seminar in Hiroshima, Japan and individual lessons.
I was Robert Randolph’s steel tech his first year on the road in 2002.
All you will need is an acoustic or electric guitar and $40 for a couple of accessories.
I will also be having some great players on it and a segment I call “In Back Of The Shack†featuring stories I’ve picked up along the way…stay tuned.â€
