Hi, I'm very new to the site and am looking to get into pedal steel. I've been playing a lot of 6 string slide and lap steel and am ready to make the investment in pedal. I've been trying to scour the forum to find what would work best for me and I think an S10 with a 3x4 setup (or similar) is ideal. I'd like to stay under $1,600 if possible and would prefer to get something that's maybe a bit "better" than what I need right now so I won't have to think about upgrading for a while. I welcome any feedback or suggestions and I'll continue to watch the for sale section but figured I'd get the ball rolling with a wanted to buy post. I'm located in Pittsburgh PA if anyone is local but don't mind dealing with shipping.

Thanks!
DJ

If you do a search in the forum there are a lot of similar posts. You could probably get a good idea of what to get from those.

I appreciate the replies and helpful information, I'll definitely be reaching out to the manufacturers that were mentioned here and in private messages. Re-reading my original post, I think I may have been unclear as I was hoping a forum member was getting ready to sell a guitar that fit my needs and budget. Purchasing a new one may still be my best option. Thanks everyone!
