Is there anyone that does pre-buy inspections? I'm looking to buy a U-12, can't afford or want to wait for a new one. But also don't want to pay shipping to Alaska to fined out the guitar isn't playable. Being a new player it could take me awhile to find out its a bad guitar and not me.

If the guitar is from an active business, Like Franklin, MSA, or GFI. You could contact them and see if they would clean and set the guitar up to your specifications, And then ship it on to you. Or ask them to recommend someone who could clean, lube and set up the guitar and ship it to you.
What state is the guitar in?
If the guitar is near a reputable dealer/repair service you may arrange with them to service the guitar and ship it to you.
Pictures and information on the guitar would help with making a suggestion.

Dale, I’m a steeler in Anchorage, I have shipped numerous steels to the lower 48 and Hawaii and back,..the best service/price has consistently been USPS 3-day Priority parcel service.. Shocked Larry
