Has anyone knowledge of whether the repair dept. at Peavey is up and running? Having a problem with my '112' that I would like resolved. If not; are there any alternatives (a Forum member who does repairs would be ideal!) Checked with Ken Fox and he is not presently working on recently manufactured amps.

Gene..Thank you for posting the link. My problem is that the volume will suddenly drop out from normal to barely audible unexpectedly. If I have not used the amp for a while, the problem also exists when unit is first turned on. Have removed the chassis twice and cleaned and lubed all pots and jacks with Deoxit. Also installed jumpers in the effects loops and the two jacks in the rear.

I try to use deoxit sparingly and a couple people say Gold is better than D5. You can look for cold solders

As far as repairs, I think you're always better off finding somebody local, I watch Fedex and UPS and others load/unload a lot of stuff at work and they seem to always be behind schedule, working much faster w/less care these days.
