Had a question about the height of this guitar. Hope this helps.

This model is one of the sweetest sounding and smooth playing guitars that I've ever had the pleasure to set behind. I had the 11 string that belonged to Tom Brumly. It was a push pull just like this one. There were not a lot of these made because they were to expensive and time consuming to make. I see it is not a standard E9 set up and these are a little hard to set up, not for the faint of heart. I am not trying to drum up business for myself but I can do it if needed. Cheep too, as I love playing them. Why don"t I buy it for myself? Because I'm 69 yrs old with a shot back and left hip. I hurt for a week after loading and unloading once or twice every weekend. Believe me it would be mine if I was 5 yrs younger. This is one of the most under rated guitars ever made and the only guitar comparable to it would be a Sierra. But I like the tone of a BMI better. A great design, great playing, great sounding. This guitar needs a good home. Don't let it get away. YOU WILL BE HAPPY!

William,
You are right about the tone. This guitar sounds great, and plays great too. I think it has a wooden neck, at least it looks like it to me. It is a good guitar.

Yes they are wooden and that guitar sounds to me exactly like a steel guitar should sound like. I have had two all pull and one push pull and every one sounded the same - good! Someone’s going to be a happy camper.

William,
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you could hook up a “C” pedal to this guitar on the third pedal, and still use 3-7 on the C neck.

A number of people just use 4 pedals for C6.

Didn't know BMI made any PP's. What year? I've got a mid 70's BMI that Paul Redmond did some amazing upgrades on. Tone and playability...I'll never sell it. Don't know about the PP model, but the BMI all pull changer is unique in that the fingers fulcrum on a steel bar under the deck in the back which accounts for great tone characteristics. Zane really knew what makes great tone.

Isn't that a pull release changer, not a push/pull?

It technically could be called a pull release but BMI does refer to this as a pushpull. Beautiful guitar Jimmie, if I didn't have one on order I'd definitely be going for this.

No on pull release
She push’s her lowers!
Coolest steels on the third rock from the Sun.
ZANE KING had a Bmi 12 string BMI push pull.
When he got a good all pull steel he lost a third of his speed.
The pedal action is short, positive an easy!!!

jimmie, i would say yes, if i had not decided to keep my 14 string sierra it would already be living at my house as we speak. if you add another pedal and change the copedant it certainly should be worth more....thanks jack
