Jon is fabulous on the new song, 'Blue and Black' by Zephaniah, album due out August 26.
So far looks like a great record.

Jon is such a fantastic player- I’m really looking forward to hearing that entire record. If you like Jon give his interview a listen on Brian Daste’s ‘The Pedal Steel Podcast’ (which is also phenomenal). He talks about early correspondence with Lloyd Green and how he approached playing PSG as part of Ryan Adams and The Cardinals which was pretty interesting stuff! |

I saw Zephaniah and his band (minus Jon) last summer. Gotta say... he is one of the most present, in-the-moment, and well articulated singers I've ever heard live. All the elements of his band fit together so perfectly to create an awesome groove. Color me impressed! |
