Both of these guitars are for sale, but I'd consider a trade involving the right Emmons or Zum.

1958 Martin D-28 - NOW $6750 net to me

This guitar has a few issues but it features gorgeous '50s Martin Brazilian and is a nice playing and sounding instrument.

I don't have a complete repair history, but there's evidence of a past headstock repair. I can't see the nature of the original issue, but my assumption is that there was some type of crack. Can provide close up pictures.

There's a cleated top crack by the pickguard, and the bridge shows some evidence of being removed and reglued (some visible marking around the bridge from removal). The neck has been reset and a strap button has been installed right at the peak of the neck heel.

Finish is mostly original, but the back of the headstock shows evidence of finish work and there's what appears to be some lacquer drips on the rings of the rosette. Assume they were either covering pick wear in the rosette area, or maybe something residual from the pickguard crack repair?

No cracks on back or sides. Some light scratches and playwear. Worn spot on the back of the neck and plenty of fretboard wear.

Been played a lot but its best years are in front of it!
