i have a stage one vp when i hook it up to my nv 1000 and go to 4 on volume it makes a loud noise but when i hook up my goodrich the noise stops i never go past 4 always about 2 checked cables all good could it be something happened to the stage one or something else thanks for any help.

| Loud noise as in a hum? It's a simple pot pedal so unless a wire is touching ground we would need more information to help. Take a look at the wires and the jacks. |

I had one that did the same thing. I just use my Goodrich L120

| I have Stage One VP and have not encountered this problem. If it did happen to come up, it would be nice to have a better solution at hand than to just use a different pedal. There are really not too many things it could be. Bad jack, loose wire, bad pot. |
