string rattle

I have almost a new GFI Ultra double 10. I get a little bit of a string rattle on strings 4,5,and 6, on the E 9th neck. Could it be that those strings are worn and need to be changed?

My immediate response....NO.
If the rattle seems to come from the bar end, it could be that just a little more downward pressure is needed. The variance in string thicknesses tend to cause the rattle....especially if you play with a light touch. If the rattle comes from the changer end,......check for burrs on the changer surface. This is my comments in a nutshell....
