Hey Brian....
It's not necessarily the size of the pad that you need to worry about. I believe the proper size of the pad would be about 1/8 of an inch smaller than the deck it is attached to. I use 1/4 stock for the base but some prefer 1/2 inch. The real issue here is the Hole placement. If you want to send me the deminsions on the "deck" I will be happy to make one for you at the actual cost of the material and what little shipping it might take to get it to you. Or...here is an easy way. Take a piece of paper and cut it exactly the size of the deck (inside the endplate) Lay the paper on the deck and with a pencil...poke a hole through the paper at each point that a srew should go through. Tell the the size of the screw and send it to me. I will make one for you and send it back. Not looking to make any money just offering a little help

Hey Brian . Heres something to think about . Go to any fabric store and get some Marine Vinyl and get more than one color and have Sho~Bud embroidered on them and you can change the color out when you get tired of one color . When we made Vinyl covers we did that for our customers . Just something to think about . And by the way you can do this yourself . All you need is the same type of plywood that you have in the original pad and some foam pad and a staple
gun and you are up and running . I have done something like this myself . But it is a great offer by Mr.Walker ,thanks to him would be in order . best regards , Gary . |

How about a heat gun? I've looked many times at my (original) pad to see well-finished edges on short radius corners of the plywood-- no evidence of folding anywhere. If that's the look you favor . . . |
