Staying busy. Built a few Hudson stringmaster kits..something to do. Vintage Fender nitro colors. These babbys are easier to play while watching TV than a PSG,...haha.. and no pedal noise so I can hear Rachel! I make my own larger bridges and raise the nuts for increased string clearance, better string break at the nut and bridge, for improved tone and play-ability. Stay home if ya can, stay busy, wear a mask, wash yer mitts. Stay healthy amigos.

Those look great John! I might have to try your idea of using the taller nut and bridge. If you have any interest, forum member Victor Wong made these stringmaster pickup covers available:

I had a couple of Fender Deluxe 8 control plates that I got off ebay a while back and had Gary Rue cut out a body for me last year. I finished it in Fender sonic blue metallic and added leg sockets. I've been pretty happy with it.

Yeah, same scale (22.5") but an inch or so shorter. It's hard to find even a beat up Deluxe 8 for less than $1K anymore so this was a good alternative, as are the Hudson kits.
