Hey all, psg newbie here again. Forgive me in advance for not having knowledge of the names of pieces and parts. My pedal steel (ZB style frankenstein, I've been told) has these little plastic pieces that have broken off twice. I can no longer press the pedal down without it slipping off the "changer?" What are these called and where can I order them? They seem cheap (as does a few things on this budget guitar) and I'd love to find a permanent fix. Thanks in advance!!

Hey John, I'm probably not the best one to respond as I don't have a ZB however I believe that the plastic part is there to stop the clanging of metal on metal or as a kind of dry lubricant . You should be able to improvise from hardware store but I suspect that whatever means of stopping the pedal is either missing or out of adjustment. This is allowing the junction at the pedal rod top to go too far and past the "cross shaft". That pedal raises your G#'s a 1/2 step to A which doesn't require a lot of travel so if there is nothing to prevent the pedal from raising past a half, I'd say that's your bigger issue. Feel free to pm me and I'll give you my cell for clearer clarification. George
