As most of you know, I have my YouTube.com/steelpicker site where you can watch and/or download the videos that I recorded at various steel guitar conventions.
Well before (and after) video, I have hundreds of cassette tapes and CD's that I recorded live at these shows.
So each segment is sortof like my videos, about 30-40 minutes long.
I am looking for a way to share this audio with all of you at no charge, but I also don't want it to cost me a fee to do this.
I thought about just digitizing the cassettes and CD's into a video format with a title and just posting on my YouTube site. Sounds easy huh? Well no. Each show is som 30-40 minutes long and that is "real time" upload to my computer. Then I have to process it and load to YouTube. For a 40 minute video, it takes about 2 hours to upload to YouTube, so I would probably never get it all done.
The other option I am thinking is a site where it is audio only. Yep, still real time getting the audio into my computer, but minimal time to upload to a site as the files are so much smaller. 40mb +- compared to 5-6GB for an audio in video format.
I want a place that will not delete my music or limit me as to how much storage I can use.
I checked SoundCloud and it is limited. Google Drive is limited.
I want a place that I can simply post a link (here and on FB) and you will be able to listen and download.
So this is where I need help.
Any suggestions?
And if it is a site that I have to pay for, would you be willing to have a "pay per listen" small fee to cover the cost involved?

| Bill, I don't have an answer but I certainly hope someone here does. That would be a great service to the members. I have quite a few myself from over the years and I never got around to putting them on the computer. Its a labor of love for sure. |

| Just spitballing here, Bill, but if 20 people sent $10, you could host 3 TB of space at Dropbox for a year. You might have to create some sort of e-mail distribution list but maybe there’s a workaround where subscribers could help themselves once you’ve deposited the audio files. |

Jumpshare is a place my band members share mp3s with each other all the time. Don't know if it will fit your needs but works great, you share a link and you can listen online or download. I have only used the free version but they have paid tiers as well.

Thanks for the replies.
What I am looking for is a PERMANENT place to store these, the same way I do video's on YouTube.
I can do the audio the same way on Youtube, but they would have to be video files.
So it would probably take me another 10 years to get all these uploaded.
Maybe I will just transfer everything to CD's and give them all to a YOUNG person that would have a passion for preserving history, the same way I have. 
I'll figure something out.
