I would like to know if anyone has tried a Peavey LA 400 amp or a Peavey Ranger 2 x 12 or a Peavey 112 Bravo amp.

If you did use any of these...what are the things you liked or dislike about them?

Thank you Paul and Ken for the information. I have a chance to buy all three of these amps. Sounds like the LA 400 is the best bet so far.

Anyone else have any opinions on these amps from experience using them...please let me know.

If you get the LA 400 get the Ken Fox mod kit it will take that amp to a hole new level.

Thank you for the information Berry. I have a Peavey Special 130 with Kens chips in it and a BW 1203-4 speaker. This amp is awesome with the upgrade.

The Peavey L.A. 400 has the 200 power amp in it and I bet its an awesome amp like you said with Kens chips added. The Special 130 /85 watts sounds great, but what I like about the L.A.400 is the extra power it has.It reminds me of my Session 500 I use to have. Now ...that Session 500 was an awesome amp, but it was so heavy...LOL!

The LA is no light weight but If you change the the BW for one of the new Neo speakers it's around the weight of the 130.
