FedEx delivered my new Desert Rose keyless S-10 3+5 early yesterday evening, This morning I set it up and tuned it played a little, Later I will plug it into an amp and play a little more....I'm loving this guitar...Big thanks to Chuck&Marilyn Back for putting up with my stupidity and for building this incredible lil'guitar.

That’s a gorgeous guitar, Stu. Your retro bathroom sink boomerang guitar is still one of my favorites, though Smile

Very very nice. The pedal bar attachment to the front feet is similar to that on my EXCEL. I think it’s brilliant. What’s the weight of this guitar? Stu, we have some friends in common. I hope we can meet up sometime.

Congratulations, Stu! That's a great looking steel you have there!

Chuck Back builds a great pedal steel. They are designed well and Chuck's attention to detail is always very apparent. Last year after the Mesa show, I was able to spend the day with him at his shop in Tucson. Is seems like he mentioned to me that he was going to be building you a keyless guitar.

I was also able to watch him perform with his band at a local venue on a couple occasions. He is an awesome musician and vocalist!

Beautiful guitar! Being on my iPhone with small photos, at first I thought the pad curled around and continues in front of the tuning machines then realized it’s a white tone bar.

Chuck refers to the guitar as the Vintage Pro? Being keyless and very streamlined looking, I think I would call it the “Thoroughly Modern Pro.“ Though I guess it has sort of the retro/modern look of the early 1950s.

Kevin,Yes I've been told that the front feet attach in a similar way to an Excel,Yes Bill McDonald and his band kidnapped me almost 50 years ago and took me to Tejas it was an amazing experience...Lynn hope that you are feeling a little stronger I pray for you a lot,Ross You are hi on my list of amazing friends.

Stu, is it a custom guitar, or is Chuck making these as a regular production model? His website needs updating.

Jerry,I guess it's a special order? it's #3 of the Keyless guitars. It's my first keyless,I'm not afraid of the Keyless guitars anymore,The pickup is a George L's 10-1 that has been laying around in a box for years, haven't plugged it in yet my practice room is very quiet

What is the lineage of Chuck’s keyless tuners? Like Klein, Excel, etc?
