Each memorial day i give remembrance to a great warrior, Gerald “ Dawg” Lambert. My roomie in Iraq. We kept saying to each other we knew each other from somewhere. Today, i would like to keep Jerrys memory alive. October 2006 in a little village called Tikrit fighting for your freedom to have a voice in this country, Jerry Lambert succumbed to an IED blast. I still have the shirt you got for me in Mosul bro... #warrior #freedomsquad #memorialdayweekend #itsallaboutyou #neverforget #brosforlife

Charley,
Thank you for your service. You post Vietnam soldiers are special because you're part of an all volunteer force.
Me, I'm from the Vietnam era when the choice was volunteer for four or to be inducted for two. Either way you knew you were likely to serve.
I recently read almost one third of the members of the US military are female. How great is that?!
The military of today is much different from the military of my era. But most of the changes are better.
Gerald Lambert's sacrifice should be honored and appreciated every day. Thank you Gerald and God bless you and those you left behind! _________________ Remembering Harold Fogle (1945-1999) Pedal Steel Player

Charlie, remembering all of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and recognizing them on this special day. Thx to “Dawg” and all of the ones who fought for our freedom. I lost many friends in “Nam”. _________________ Show Pro #26 & #83,BJS bars,Stereo Steel,Tommy Huff cabs loaded with JBL D130's, Wampler pedals,NV112,NV400, Steelers Choice Seats |

Charlie, I'm with you, on this great weekend, my cousin was one of 13 who perished by an IED in Iraq, they were from Lima Ohio.
I'm happy to say that I employ a veteran of Afghanistan who is a childhood friend of my son. He's a great guy and very disciplined, the ultimate employee.
I'm bummed we are not having our usual parade in town tomorrow. We will soldier on! _________________ Regards, Craig
