I have not, but I asked Beard about what is involved. I also asked if the rollers on the roller nut were gauged.

Here is their reply:

Quote:
The Doubleshot install is fairly straightforward but you’ll want to be careful when installing the tailpiece so as not to have too much break angle from the saddle to the tailpiece.

Depending on how clean the nut comes out you may need a file to clean the slot before installing the roller nut.

To answer your question, the rollers do have different sized slot for the strings.

Right now these are on backorder from HipShot and with the current COVID-19 issues we’re not sure when they will be in stock.

I also found this video useful:

Good luck!

Hey, I see you edited it to add Road-o-phonic - I don't think it matters, though - techniques would be the same. I've seen Road-o-phonics with the Hipshot Doubleshot on them.

I was thinking it's possible since this model has the same tailpiece as a spider bridge resonator?

And it is.

Here's one for sale at the Guitar Sanctuary in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. $3550 - yikes! If you already have the guitar when the DoubleShot becomes available again it would be a cool addition. Obviously you should check with Beard to see if mounting it on a biscuit bridge guitar comes with additional complications.

If you don't own the guitar yet in my book I'd go for an acoustic/electric Beard Copper Mountain with the DoubleShot. But it of course depends on your usage The Road-O-_Phonic is nice and compact, and has a different unplugged sound.

Here is the link to the listing at Guitar Sanctuary:
