My playing-out days are coming to an end, and I am selling some of my gear. This is a pre-war Rick, wide horseshoe pickup (1.5"), a great guitar. I bought it here on the forum 15 years ago or so. It's generally in really good shape.....the only issue is a shallow crack in the bakelite across the string holes. The previous owner installed a strap button to keep the crack from progressing. A very smart "fix", and it works.....there hasn't been a change in the 15 years I've owned the guitar. The crack may be an issue to a collector, but I don't believe it affects the play-ability or tone at all. I'm going to ask $1,400 obo, and I will pay shipping and PayPal in the CONUS. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful guitar!

Why are your playing days ending? Hope you're OK.

Hey Mark,

I'm good, thanks for asking. Around here, as I'm sure you are experiencing, live music is on hold. All our gigs were cancelled, and the venues are saying they won't have live music when they reopen. I'm reading the handwriting on the wall. I'm in my 70's now, and I saw the late nights coming to an end anyhow. Still playing with friends, though, and still trying to improve!

Take care and be well,

Cliff
