I'm not sure the is the right section for this topic. I need to find out how to get my two steels appraised for insurance purposes. Anyone have any idea how I can get that done in the Greater Philly & NYC areas?

I would check here, Reverb, ebay and simply see what the average retail price on each is,, Can't it be done that way?.Beats paying some guitar store thats just going to look in a blue book...

If you need something from a store or dealer, I know some will do insurance appraisals via photo. Reach out to some steel dealers.....or maybe Gruhn's or Carter in Nashville.

I have all my Gig gear, Insured by a rider on my home owners policy. If I do not have a receipt showing cost, When I add something. The agent gets on his computer and checks some web site, I have not had any problem.

When an amp. had a fall going onto stage, They paid me what was on a receipt, For the repair.
