No ting-a-ling so I'm thinking Jerry Byrd here. I feel like I should know from listening. In any case, great steel playing.

Little Roy didn't always ting-a-ling on everything.

"Just A Little Lovin'" is Little Roy Wiggins. Not sure of the other one.

Those songs are both Little Roy Wiggins. He is using a different tuning from his earlier songs with Eddy.
Could be E6 or C6. Listen to the tone and the technique.
Jack Stoner used to work with Little Roy. He would know for sure.

I worked for Little Roy at his Nashville "Music City" music store in early 70's. Roy was my inspiration to take up steel guitar. I used to buy 78 rpm Eddy Arnold records to hear Roy (I guess that tells my age).

Roy told me he was on all the Eddy Arnold recordings (before he went semi-pop and quit using steel) except one, and that one slips my mind. Chicago is where most were recorded as that was before the Nashville recording studios.

Thanks, Jack (and all). I thought I knew the better known Eddy Arnold material pretty well, but hearing those tunes on the radio station yesterday, that steel and playing just jumped out at me and for whatever reason (the lack of trills?) it just didn't sound like him. He was a more sophisticated player than I gave him credit for. Really nice stuff.
