I recently played pedal steel on this cover of George Harrison's "Behind That Locked Door" with Rosie Porter and Tom LeBeau. My solo is around 2:00. Thanks for listening!

Outstanding. Great playing, Doug. And her voice is like Mom telling you everything’s gonna be okay.

This is great! Almost fifty years later when the original came out.

Great as always, Doug. That's one of the tunes that made me start playing steel.

Thanks for the kind comments. Yeah, this song had a big influence on me too. 50 years ago! I was in college at the time, and wondering what I was even doing there... and then along came the pedal steel guitar! Cool Thank you, Pete Drake!

Nice job Doug! I really like the relaxed pace of the song. It is not rushed, like so many others today. The vocals are really appealing. And, of course, your PSG parts just fit in so smoothly... they add so much to the recording. This is something that easily bears re-listening and re-listening very well.

Thanks Dan! I had a lot of fun with this one. And Rosie did a great job on vocals. Tom LeBeau played drums, bass, guitars, and engineered and mixed! So it was a three person project with Tom doing most of the work! 😎
