I've got zip experience in amps. I have an 85W combo that I (and other guitar players in the unit) love dearly. Much better than my NV112. But it's owned by the Army & I'll be leaving it in a couple years.

Very pricey and never seen used, but the other day I saw an 85W head in brand new condition for what seemed like a steal on ebay. Came in today and plays great (although different, maybe tubes need breaking in).

Thought it might be fun to build my own cabinet and have questions for more experienced owners of Milkman tube amps:

Those who play this (or other Milkman tube amps) what speaker do you recommend?

A 15" better than a 12"? Only for this amp-don't want to open 12" vs 15" can of worms.

On the forum I bought a PF350 12" for my NV112 (which helped it a bit). Anyone use the PF350 on the Milkman 85W? Would this be a good match together?

Just want to hear from the folks before I start as I really don't know much about speakers-thank you!!

I've been using a PF350 with a Twin Reverb in a head cabinet and it sounds great. I've also used the speaker with a Milkman Mini in a head cabinet and that also sounds very good. I haven't played any gigs with either setup because ...

The speaker cabinet is a Twin Reverb that I put a baffle in. I think the size of the cabinet helps give a fuller, deeper tone. I wouldn't want to carry the cabinet if it had two of those speakers.
