This is how I transport my Steel and gear from my truck to the stage. I bought the cart at Ace Hardware, about $75.00 well worth it. Built the platform out of 3/4 plywood with laminate top. It’s light weight and easy to store.

So you don't have to break it down & set it up? I'd like that. Except: what about up & down flights of stairs?

I am going to watch this.
From 2000 to 2017 I had a MSA S10 4X4 I gigged. I built a heavy padded cover to protect the cabinet, Held on with Vel-Cro straps.

I moved the guitar set up. I would just pick the steel up, Balance the cabinet on my right shoulder, With right hand grip in middle of pedal board. I could go through doors, Climb steps, Through stage curtains, No problem.

But being on the back side of 78 years old, Time to find an easier way, Cart looks good way to go.

A heavy paded cover is what my friend uses. There is a short pice of padded aluminum angle mounted close to the top of the handle the end plate sits in with a velcro strap that loops around both legs at the top to keep the whole thing together. A bungi cord at the bottom hooks around the lower part of the legs at the wheels. The wheels are about 7" and can be pulled up stairs no problem.
