Selling my prized ES 175 N THE GUITAR IS LISTED ELSEWHERE... original blonde finish.... doubt if there is a nicer one out there..9.0 crazy clean collector/ investment condition guitar... it plays perfectly and the PAF pickup is as sweet as they come, lots of adjustment on the bridge up or down for setting the players desired action....... 100% stock and original, no damage, cracks or repairs a few small nicks and extremely light finish checking..... once in a lifetime guitar...Thanks Bob

WOW! Bob,
That is the cleanest , prettiest 50's ES175 I have seen. Just fantastic condition. Also, the natural finish is much more rare than the Sunburst.
I have a 1951 Natural ES175 but has been cracked, refretted and modified every which way over 40 years. But still plays like a dream....
These are fantastic jazz guitars folks! Gets that Jim Hall, Herb Ellis sound.
Good luck with the sale Bob! That is one beautiful example!

have only seen one other one that nice. friend of mine relocates seniors. sells their stuff and sets them up in a senior community. he found one in an attic of a client. guy was a doctor. bought a 175 in the late 50s and didnt play it. ended up in the attic...but...at some point they blew in attic insulation...about 3 or 4 feet of it. guitar was mummified for decades. it looked like the day it came out of the gibson factory. not one scratch..not one finish check.
you have a very nice guitar. tough time to sell things right now, but that is a special guitar for sure. |

Thanks,

So . . . what's the word on this guitar? No price, no response by the seller to interested questions by potential buyers . . . |
