I just got a Little Buddy off E-Bay to just mess around with
does anyone know anything about these. It has a pedal hooked to a volume pot ???? That may end up being the best part of it. lol
It has "Emmons" style pedals --- but they are rubber ?? |

Not too sure lol. The guitar seems to be
tuner an octave too high ??? or something. The Strings do not want to get up to tone ? May put my D'Addario strings on it ---- a $100 blanket on a $10 horse ???
Fun Fun Fun --- blame it all on the "Flu"
Hattiesburg, MS just started to require EVERYONE to wear a mask outside of your house !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The world has gone mad. |

My condolences. I owned a Little Buddy for a short time back in the 70's. Yes, the single pedal off to the right connects to a volume pot under the body. That sounds like a nice innovation, but it's a very awkward arrangement. In function, the Little Buddy is like a poorly made Maverick. I don't remember if the pedals were plastic or painted metal, but they were the least of the issues. I do remember that there was so much side to side movement in the body that I built a 6" wide pedal bar and used 2 bolts on each leg to stiffen it up. |

That sounds like a good idea about the cross bar.
The rubber pedals are not problem -- the volume control one seems to be a lot of trouble for little gain. It is not hooked up underneath right now.
I just got this to play around with while shut up from the
"Flu" or whatever it is. |
