The Legends Project
Just got this from Heart of Texas records. It has Amber doing duets with lots of country "legends", like Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Vince Gill, Mo Bandy, etc. Good stuff. Tommy Detamore on pedal steel.

Another I got from Heart of Texas is "One Night Only -- The Honky Tonk Road Show", a collaboration between Kimberly Murray and Bob Manning (a married couple). I'm just getting started on this one, but it sounds great, a combination of Texas Dancehall and West Coast Country. Doug Jones plays steel on this one.

Kimberly Murray has a fantastic voice, well demonstrated on her "Another Day of Lonely" and "Once Upon a Time in a Honky Tonk" albums. About a year ago, someone gifted me a $100 iTunes credit. You can listen a slice of every song, then buy what you want; most of the songs were $.99. I blew through the $100 pretty fast. Then I had a birthday, and got another $100, which is also gone.

Some of the artists whose work I bought:
Jolie Holliday, Weldon Henson, Montana Rose, Randy Carville, Leona Williams and her son Ron, Bill Green, Teea Goans and Darin Warner.

I've burned about a dozen CDs with this stuff on them, and my car has a six-CD changer, so I no longer object to driving down to Davis (20 miles) to get my wife's meds! Devil

iTunes has been replaced by Apple Music, which is a subscription for $10/month; I'm on a 3-month free intro. You don't pay for each song you download, so if you get more than ten songs a month, it's cheaper than what I did.
