I'm unloading a 1954 Fender Stringmaster, long scale. It sounds and plays great, but does have some typical wear. Here are the noticeable flaws:
- there's what appears to be a hole drilled through the tuning pan on the bottom neck (doesn't affect anything)
- the fender plate on the middle of the guitar is missing one of the screws but stays in place when flipping over the body to unload and load into case
- non original case with leg pouch
Overall, the guitar is solid and has that unique Fender steel sound from the era. I bought it awhile back from a guy out in NY and have played and gigged with it since. I'm only selling it because I want a C6 guitar that has pedals, and already own another lap steel.
I can send more photos if desired, but I think these cover mostly everything. It's strung up as D13 and C6/A7 on the necks. I'm looking to get $800 with the buyer paying shipping. PayPal preferred. Guitar, legs, case, and leg pouch only- this will not come with any picks, bars, etc.
Thanks for looking-
Michael
