I heard yesterday from Eileen that Vero Beach steeler Bob Schorella has passed. RIP Bob. Good guy and fine steeler.

Sad. RIP.

Bob used to live on this side of the state and I followed him, after he moved to the east side, in working for a singer in Brooksville. He visited over here several times and even played at one of our Florida Steel Guitar Club shows.

I am so sorry to hear this.

Bob and I would always get together when we visited the Stewarts in Vero Beach, and pick a little.

I know that the last 2 times, he could not and said that his picking days were over.

RIP Friend.
