| I’m on my last leg here before I just take the pickup out and try to sell it. I install an L710 into my Sho Bud, the tone is great but something isn’t grounded so whenever I touch a metal part like the changer or the knee levers, there’s buzz/static. I’ve tried everything I can think of, mind you this pickup only has 3 wires, white-hot, black-ground, and red-coil tap?(I think), I’ve attached white to hot and black to ground and left the red alone seeing as I don’t have a switch, I’ve tried red and black together with white alone, same result. I’ve even tried running a wire from the ground to a screw in the changer and end plate along with the ground wire, still same thing. I don’t know what else to do and I’m afraid I may have to sell the pickup.... |
