Here is what the stand looks like. It is for a notebook or laptop. It was on a pile to get thrown out. I bent it to a steeper angle, added two pivoting stabilizing extensions out the back, a nylon U channel shelf, and it fills the bill.

I love how the white nylon picks up the fretboard color. Classy (as usual).
There might be a factory in China that would hire you for design. You know, fulfill that lifelong dream of living and working in China....
