Does anyone know if Schild, the Swiss pedal steel company, is still in business? I've tried contacting them through their website a couple of times about their half-stop mechanism and not heard back.

I've been communicating with him. He responds erratically and slowly but he's around and in business.

His email is
p.schild at solnet.ch

Sort of glad Schild is hard to reach . . . . 'cause I might be tempted to order one of his exquisite-looking steels . . . if I had the euros!

He's still in business. But he realy slow it down alot! I ordered a Schild and the wait is 1 year! But I strongly believe it's the best quality you can get from this planet!
